Updated Administrative Regulation 5113 Absences and Excuses states that parents have 30 school days to excuse an absence. Absences remaining unverified 30 days after the student’s return to school will be considered truant or unexcused.

9th graders! Please start doing your community service! Quality community service will look great on your college resume! Please keep track of your hours: Updated-Community-Service-Form-May-2013
7th and 8th graders! Although community service does not count for graduation until 9th grade, it is a great idea to start building relationships with the organizations in our community. Start your service as soon as possible.

Dear Parents and Granger Jr. High School Community:
Mr. Richard Carreon, principal of Granger Jr. High School, has provided a letter detailing information of about the new Smarter Balance Assessments. This year, for the first time, students in the district in the 7th, 8th, and 11th grade students will be participating in the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC) for English and Math.
