Congratulations to our staff, students, parents and community for being re-designated as a “School to Watch” by the U.S. Department of Education. It is due to the collaborative effort of our entire community that we received this honor. The criteria for selection of Schools to Watch is multi-faceted and rigorous. The components include: Developmental Responsiveness, Academic Excellence, Social Equity and Organizational Structure. Most schools excel in one or two areas but Granger continues to excel in all.
Please join us September 3rd at 8:30am in the library for Coffee with the Principal. Bring your questions, concerns, etc. Tell us what we are doing right and what we can work on. Our goal is to build a strong partnership with our families. Your opinion matters. We want to hear from you!
Updated Administrative Regulation 5113 Absences and Excuses states that parents have 30 school days to excuse an absence. Absences remaining unverified 30 days after the student’s return to school will be considered truant or unexcused.
